Built in response to our increasingly disconnected world, Kinship is a new kind of community platform for forming connections through conversation – with live talks that inspire and small groups that support. Each session starts with a TED-style talk from a relatable speaker, followed by small breakout groups where conversations are guided by trained facilitators. In intentionally creating a space of acceptance and non-judgment, Kinship is the safest place to explore being you.
Kinship Facilitators are arguably one of the most important and impactful people in our community. Their job is to guide small groups of members through open and vulnerable conversations. To do so effectively, it takes a skilled and dynamic communicator who’s personally invested in showing up, doing the work, and engaging in depthful discussions themselves.
Our facilitators lead by example, sharing vulnerably to set the tone, giving our members permission to show up authentically, and maintaining a positive, uplifting, and meaningful discussion. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong desire to be an emotional mirror, actively listen, thoughtfully engage, and help kindle connections through conversation.
